Sioux Technologies and PSV are joining forces for the next three years to win the world title in the RoboCup, the international soccer competition for robots. Under the flag of a joint team, they will enter the RoboCup field for the first time in 2025, with the ultimate goal of winning the world title in 2027. Sioux Technologies becomes an Official Sponsor of PSV with this partnership.
This partnership goes beyond name collaboration and sponsorship. It offers a unique opportunity to share knowledge and expertise. Technological expertise from Sioux's engineers and advanced data analysis from PSV Academy will be combined to program the robots as accurately as possible and ensure they perform optimally.
Technical soccer expertise
PSV and Sioux Technologies share a passion for innovation and technology. This collaboration highlights the Brainport region's strength as a pioneer in technological development combined with data and sports. The coming years will be marked by joint projects using data analysis, Artificial Intelligence (AI) and robotics to take robot sports to the next level.
Commercial Director of PSV, Frans Janssen, is delighted to welcome Sioux Technologies, an Eindhoven-based, high-tech company, to the PSV family. RoboCup Eindhoven
Want a sneak peek? Come and watch during the RoboCup 2024 from Wednesday, July 17 to Sunday, July 21. Then the largest soccer robot competition in the world will be held in the Genneper Parken in Eindhoven. PSV and Sioux will kick off their collaboration here with a technology workshop for children and a demonstration of AI for detecting human movements.
