Press release
Sioux Technologies has opened a new Research & Development Centre in Singapore. Since its establishment in 2019, the company has grown strongly in the region. From this location, Sioux supports customers worldwide in the development and modernization of software systems and the implementation of AI solutions.
The new R&D centre, supported by the Singapore Economic Development Board (EDB), plays an important role in Sioux's continued growth in Asia. This expansion doubles the local team and strengthens the company's role as a development partner for semiconductor and medical equipment manufacturers. “This step brings us closer to our customers and opens doors to high-quality technical talent,” said the founder of Sioux, Hans Duisters, during the festive opening.
Theo Kneepkens, Country President of KLA Singapore, also emphasizes the value of this partnership and expresses his confidence that Sioux will make a valuable contribution to the growth of KLA's R&D activities in Singapore. Soo Haw Yun, Vice President Global Enterprises Division at EDB, adds, “Sioux Technologies' expansion confirms Singapore's attractiveness as an innovation hub. The new R&D center not only promotes collaboration with partners and customers, but also helps in the development of high-precision motion control systems for medical and semiconductor equipment.”
New office in India
In addition to the expansion in Singapore, Sioux recently opened a new office in India, driven by the increasing demand for expertise in electronics and mechanics. This allows Sioux to leverage India's strong technology base and high-quality engineering talent, helping to strengthen its global market position.
