Kids Tech Workshop at RoboCup

Sioux Technologies will be facilitating a technical workshop during the RoboCup in Eindhoven! Learn how to program at the Sioux Campus LEGO Robot Challenge. 

About RoboCup Eindhoven

RoboCup is an international initiative focused on advancing robotics and artificial intelligence. This year, the event takes place in Eindhoven, a city renowned for its technological innovations and strong involvement in the high-tech industry. The competition brings together teams from around the world to compete in various robotics categories, ranging from soccer robots to care robots and industrial robots.

RoboCup will be held from Wednesday, July 17 until Sunday, July 21 at the Genneper Parken in Eindhoven (Theo Koomenlaan 1, 5644 HZ Eindhoven). During these days, there will be exciting competitions, demonstrations, and workshops, including our very own technical workshop.

Technical Workshop for kids

Engineering is incredibly fun and we want kids to experience that for themselves. For all robot fans aged 8 up to and including 13, Sioux Technologies is organizing the ‘LEGO Robot Challenge’. Children will have the opportunity to program their own LEGO Spike robot within 1 hour. The goal is navigate the robot at high speed through the Sioux Campus LEGO replica. Creativity and programming skills will get the free rein by going for the win!

We invite the youth to gain hands-on experience and insights, during this workshop. Our experienced trainers are present to guide them on their way.

Registration

When registering, please indicate which day your child(-ren) could participate and keep this day available until participation is confirmed. You can register your child(ren) on the day of your choice.

ADDITIONAL INFORMATION

• This challenging and educational workshop lasts 1 hour.
• Programming skills are not required. 
• Please note: there are only a limited number of seats available for pre-registration. Full = full, so be there in time to secure a spot.
• A confirmation email will be sent to you as soon as possible, indicating the day and time slot you are assigned to (in the morning or afternoon).
• There is opportunity for parents/caregivers to stay and wait in a separate corner.
• Don't forget to buy an entrance ticket for the RoboCup event. 1 ticket per person.
