Dries De Winter graduated as a civil engineer in Computer Science at Ghent University. Since 2013 he works at the Sioux Technologies in Herentals. At the moment he works for multinational Cisco as a software designer.
Dries: 'Cisco is the global market leader in digital video. Together with a team of colleagues, I work on various assignments from our own Development Centre in Herentals. Every problem offers a new challenge. The subjects and the complexity of the assignments we work on varies and is well attuned to the ability and interests of each colleague. You will have the opportunity to take the lead in the development of new complex features, but if you just start on a project, you will also have the opportunity and the time to grow in the technology.'
'You get the opportunity to take the lead in the development of new complex features'
Personal atmosphere where everyone knows each other
'Sioux offers me the best of both worlds. While we are involved in leading edge technologies and global partnerships through our customers, we still remain a regular employee of the Sioux Belgium family. A company with a cozy and personal atmosphere where everyone knows each other. That atmosphere is further enhanced by initiatives such as in-house training courses, knowledge groups and social events.'
We can tell you all about the typical Sioux-culture. About how you can develop yourself, like nowhere else.
But we’d rather have you see and experience it yourself during our Seats to Meet events.
