Gordon Murray Design designed the new Shell city car that uses a third less energy in its lifetime than a typical city car, designed with the kind of attention to weight reduction and aerodynamics found in Formula One™ racing. The challenge was to come to a showcase of a state-of-the-art dashboard as soon as possible.
Sioux developed the hardware and software for the dashboard. Sioux took care of the body controller hardware, the software implementation and the entire wiring harness of the vehicle.
Shell revealed its first concept city car on 22 April, 2016. It will be used by Shell for testing, events, and tradeshows in the coming years.
